I was having a conversation with a friend a couple of days ago about Atheism/Christanity/lack of faith/whatever and she asked

“Do you find it hard having Christian friends?”

..fuck. Well, I just came out with it, “yes”, I said. She told me that she was Christian and I just shrugged because, y’know, what could I do; revert my answer? No. 

Looking back, I think I would’ve expanded my answer from a simple “yes” into 

“Well, no matter who the person is, I can’t help but look down upon somebody if I find out that they’re Christian. But it wouldn’t stop me from being friends with somebody, it would just make me look at them differently and, to be honest, hold their opinion with a little less validity.”

That’s just what I think and it probably won’t change because I’m fine with it.
